During my years as a FCA registered stockbroker, I would be asked by my clients ‘How can I make my money work for me?’

Our role at Love Your Money is to provide you with the information to make that possible. Every individual has unique needs so there is not a universal solution to that dilemma. However, we do believe there are possibilities to solve this within the financial markets but appreciate how daunting this can be. The scope of the markets is vast and the jargon can be confusing so it helps to have someone ‘in the know’ by your side.

I was a stockbroker for just under 8 years, having previously worked in investment banking following my studies, which consisted of a degree and masters based around Economics and Mathematics. In that time, I gathered a lot of experience and knowledge about the financial markets both from a theoretical and practical level. Not everything is about making profit – occasionally surprises occur and you have to be able to manage the downside as well. The market has nuances that, no matter how long you study for, you will only learn via experience. That is the knowledge that we wish to impart to those who want it.

Generally in the UK, there is apathy towards the financial markets and the emergence of cryptocurrencies has not helped in that regard. There are a few commentators who feel the need to boast about their gains and insinuate that those not involved are ‘less than’ in some way. That is not our approach – we understand that as individuals we all have different risk profiles so, by providing information, we hope that our followers will find something to suit them. And if any questions arise we are here to answer them.

We would love to hear from you, so please get in touch

Kind regards
